Melanie Collier

Melanie Collier is a former New Beginnings dance mom and parent coordinator. Her daughter, Mimi Collier (currently one of the receptionists at the studio), danced in the junior division for 8 years taking ballet, theater, modern, hiphop, praise, and breakdancing, and performed in all recitals during that time. 

Melanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Marymount College of Fordham University and has worked as a senior paralegal in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. She has served on the boards of various non-profit organizations in the environmental and health awareness arenas, including New Beginnings/InVision.  She serves as the Event Planning Leader for New York Covenant Church in New Rochelle, NY, and is a part of the Welcome team there as well.  Melanie is married and has lived with her husband, two youngest children, pit bull fur baby, and elderly mom in New Rochelle since 2003.
