Heather Brown

Heather Brown is passionate about learning and inspires those around her to pursue their dreams. A lifelong creator, she has performed at prestigious venues such as Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, and Summer Stage in Prospect Park, and has danced professionally with Paul Thompson and Troop 3. At New Beginnings Performing Arts, she teaches praise dance and choreographs for Movement in Praise at church events. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Heather is a high school counselor and co-advisor for My Sister’s KeepHer, supporting students in academic, social-emotional, college, and career readiness. As she pursues her doctorate, she is also deeply involved in various ministries, directing the Movement in Praise dance ministry, co-founding a Gospelfest-winning choir, and facilitating New Beginnings’ InVision U program, - HealHer to nurture young women.
